Lakshmi Narayanan Ramamurthy has been practicing medicine since 1989, after graduating with a bachelor medical degree from Coimbatore Medical College, Tamilnadu, India. In 1992 Dr. Lakshmi Narayanan pursued and completed his post graduate diploma in Otolaryngology from the prestigious Madras Medical College, India. Subsequently in 1994, he earned the degree of Diplomate of the National Board of Examinations in Otolaryngology from the National Board of Examinations, India. Lakshmi Narayanan has extensive clinical experience, having worked in India, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. He specializes in the surgical management of snoring disorders, having conducted more than 1000 surgeries for patients with snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. He has also attended workshops conducted by the world renowned surgeons Prof. Dr Stammberger in functional endoscopic sinus surgery and by Prof.Dr Mario Sanna in Skull base surgery. Lakshmi Narayanan has been working in the United Arab Emirates since 1998. He has served as an otolaryngologist in reputed organizations such as New Medical Center hospital in Abu Dhabi, Medcare Women and Children’s hospital in Dubai and currently in Emirates International hospital, Al Ain. He has several publications to his name in both international and national conferences. When not working, Dr. Lakshmi Narayanan loves to sing. He is a professional Carnatic musician. He also loves watching games such as cricket and football during his free time. He is an avid traveler, having visited many countries around the globe.
